Hi! We're Gabe and Anahla Barkley, a husband-and-wife wedding planning team based in the Triad of North Carolina, passionate about helping couples create a wedding day that is beautiful, organized, and uniquely their own.
Having been married since January 2020, we understand firsthand how special a wedding day is. It's more than just an event—it's the beginning of a lifelong journey together. We believe marriage is one of life's greatest gifts, and we love helping couples enjoy the journey to their wedding day as much as the day itself.
As Christians, our faith is an important part of who we are and how we serve others. Because of that, we intentionally work within weddings that reflect our understanding of biblical marriage. This is not a judgment of others or their beliefs or choices—it simply reflects our convictions and the values we have chosen to build our lives and business on.
Through our professional careers, we've gained extensive experience planning, coordinating, and managing events of all sizes. From intimate gatherings to larger events, we've developed the organizational, communication, and budgeting skills needed to keep everything running smoothly.
We're also proud parents of two young children, which has taught us the importance of flexibility, attention to detail, patience, and staying calm when plans change
Our Approach to Planning
One of the things that makes our approach unique is that we work together as a team. Not only do we genuinely enjoy working alongside one another, but we also believe couples benefit from having both a groom's and bride's perspective throughout the planning process. Weddings often involve balancing different priorities, personalities, and expectations, and our partnership allows us to bring a well-rounded approach to every celebration we help coordinate.
