Hi! We’re Gabe and Anahla Barkley, a husband-and-wife wedding planning team based in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, passionate about helping couples create a wedding day that is beautiful, organized, and uniquely their own.
Having been married since January 2020, we understand firsthand how meaningful a wedding day is. As Christians, we see marriage as both a gift and a symbol of Christ’s love, which gives even more weight and beauty to the commitment couples are making. Because of that, we love helping couples slow down and truly enjoy the entire planning journey as much as the wedding day itself.
It’s more than just an event—it’s the beginning of a lifelong journey together. We believe marriage is one of life’s greatest gifts, and we love helping couples enjoy the journey to their wedding day as much as the day itself.
Through our professional careers, we've gained extensive experience planning, coordinating, and managing events of all sizes. From intimate gatherings to larger events, we've developed the organizational, communication, and budgeting skills needed to keep everything running smoothly.
We're also proud parents of two young children, which has taught us the importance of flexibility, attention to detail, patience, and staying calm when plans change.
Our Approach
One of the things that makes our approach unique is that we work together as a team. Not only do we genuinely enjoy working alongside one another, but we also believe couples benefit from having both a groom's and bride's perspective throughout the planning process. Weddings often involve balancing different priorities, personalities, and expectations, and our partnership allows us to bring a well-rounded approach to every celebration we help coordinate.
